I hope all of you in pink of health!

Today’s random topic is “who are you?”

I’ve done survey on a topic, who are you. And these are the answers.

I’m a doctor. I’m a successful engineer! I’m a hardworking teacher. I’m a humble maid. I’m beautiful stewardess. I’m great architect! I’m low class worker. I’m tea maker. I’m a despatch. I’m a sportman!

Ahaha, actually the survey was a lie. It just me making those answers. So, actually my point here, in this world, we met different people with different job. Someone could be as successful as Donald Trump, someone could be drop out of college but still manage to be a billionaire like Bill Gates, or someone could be the student with first ranking but fail as a human being.

Nowadays, people like to judge another people based on their  ranking, status quo (okay seriously I don’t even know what status quo means, but it fits there, so never mind haha). Oh you are a doctor, you must be really smart! Oh you are penyapu sampah, you must be the one who didn’t finished the homework during school rite? Ah, you’re father is an engineer! You’re really lucky!

But actually, in this world, in this dunya, you could be anyone. When I said anyone, I really meant anyone. Ahaha you get my point, ANYONE. You could be a doctor, you could be an engineer, you could be a singer, you could a farmer, as long as you want. But remember, in after life, you could be only winner or loser…..

 

Dan katakanlah : “Bekerjalah kamu, maka Allah dan RasulNya serta orang-orang mukmin akan melihat pekerjaanmu itu, dan kamu akan dikembalikan kepada (Allah) Yang Mengetahui akan yang ghaib dan yang nyata, lalu diberitakanNya kepada kamu apa yang telah kamu kerjakan”

at-Tawbah /9: 105

So, actually we could be anyone. It doesn’t matter who you are in this dunya, what matters is who you are in akhirat. People always said, doctor is the most honourable job as doctors help to save people life. Then, people also always said, teacher is the best job, as they teach someone to be someone we called human.

Allah is really fair. He loves us, no matter who we are as long as we did our job with full of sincerity for Him.

We could be a doctor, but if we do our job not for Him, our niat is only to get the fame, to get respect from others, nauzubillahuminzalik, we are only loser in akhirat. I’m sorry if I made a wrong assumption. Only Allah could judge us. Wallhualam.

But, if someone, his job only to pick trash in town, but he did his job with full of sincerity, to help others, for the sake of Allah, insyaAllah his fate in akhirat is good. People may look down on him in dunya, but only Allah knows who is him in akhirat.

So again, you could be a doctor, an engineer, an artist in this dunya, but in akhirat you could only be a loser and winner.

So, who are you? Choose now!

May His barakah with us no matter what job we did insyaAllah!

Just watched “Laura in the Kitchen” by Laura Vitale. Haha, Konon mengidam nak buat cupcake ;p

Then saya agak tertarik dengan satu benda yang dia cakap. Dia cakap dia suka letak garam dalam setiap masakan dia. Even cupcakes. Dia kata garam ni ibarat meng-complete- kan rasa. Then saya pun terilham. Bila kita belajar memasak, pernah tak dengar….

“Jangan letak garam banyak sangat, nanti masin”

“Jangan blend banyak sangat bawang merah dalam sambal, nanti jadi pahit”

“Gula tu jangan terlebih, nanti jadi tak sedap”

Tapi still, dalam masakan, kita akan letak garam sikit, gula banyak sikit, bawang2 dalam amount yang betul sebagaimana tertulis di myresepi

So, mari kita apply dalam kehidupan kita! Garam tu masin, bawang tu pahit, gula tu manis. Kalau dalam hidup ni kena insert mana2 bahan, anda nak yang mana? Mesti la nak gula kan? Everyone want their life to be as sweet as cotton candy, right right right?

Why I love cotton candy? Simple, it is pink \(^^)/

Tapi, cuba bayang, kalau buat kari, letak gula je? Euwwww. Manisnya! Sambal letak cili kering je? Okay *sungai mengalir di hidung* pedas pedas! Tak sedap kan?

Same goes to our life. Our life is dull without problem  

TAPI KAN PENAT LA ADA PROBLEM NI. KAN BEST KALAU BOLEH BERSUKA RIA JE!

He knows the best for us

Dan ingatlah bahawa Allah takkan sesekali menguji hamba hambaNya dengan ujian yang tak mampu dipikul oleh mereka. Setiap ujian pasti bertepatan dengan kemampuan kita. Itu janji Allah.

Ujian itu ibarat garam, gula, bawang dalam masakan. We as the cook will put them all in right proportion to make sure our cooking will be as delicious as it could be. So does Allah, He always put the ujian in right proportion in our life for He always know the best for us ^___^

Learn To Let Go

Assalamualaikum dear readers and friends.

Today I got physical training class. Haha, yes, in my medical school, physical training is compulsory for 1st and 2nd year students. Sometimes I feel really lazy but sometimes it was fun to play with my groupmates rather than stuck in the long-hours classes!

So, today, I played badminton!

I’m not a good athlete but I do enjoyed the game. I was trying hard to catch the shuttle cock even it was obvious that the shuttle cock already flew out of the court.

Then I learnt something.

LEARN TO LET GO.

do you ever feel like “its so hard letting go?”

even when the situation was already in a mess, you don’t what to do, and it was the worst case scenario ever! But, deep in your heart, letting go is the last option.

back then in MRSM PC, my senior had a backache. The serious one. Her condition made it difficult for her to continue the routine of the boarding school. She needs to do the prep session in the room, couldn’t go to surau and even her friend need to take the food from the Dewan Selera for her.

So, she had only 2 choices. Stay OR leave.

It was really hard to make the decision. SPM was just around the corner, will she adapt in new school?

After istikharah, Allah had shown her the way. She found a piece of paper, saying..

“when you let go of something, something better comes along”

she made her decision. She leaved our school. I never heard of her again but I’m sure, she already found the hikmah

So, what’s the relation with badminton?

Sometimes, when thing are out of control, we just need to let go.

I said earlier,

“I was trying hard to catch the shuttle cock even it was obvious that the shuttle cock already flew out of the court.”

As analogy, if the shuttle cock already flew out of the court, don’t run for it. For you might made mistake. Just let go. You got your point and new round start! And this time, don’t lose your shuttle cock again.

But but but but but… it is not wrong of making the effort. Who knows, you might catch it!

Because road will always be the road not taken.

After A Long Silence.

Assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera ke atas kamu

Rasanya dah lama saya tak menulis. Bukan tak ada idea, tapi idea tak dapat dikembangkan. Begitu banyak draft yang ditulis dengan semangat, namun berakhir dengan hanya 1 perenggan. Last last hilang mood nak post. Hari ni pulak, mood nak menulis datang membuak buak. Nak cakap pasal apa? Nak cakap pasal banyaaaakkk benda!

Okay, let spill the bean!

KISAH UBAT BATUK CAP IBU DAN ANAK.

Ibu : Anak, ibu nak keluar ni! Tolong angkatkan kain kat jemuran tu ye. Nak hujan ni.

Anak : Baiklah ibu.

Ibu beredar. Anak bangun lalu….. ANGKAT KAIN! Tapi anak ni sangat rajin, maka dia pun tolong LIPATkan kain tu. Tapi bukan setakat lipat je, dia pun turut SIMPANkan kain yang dilipat tu dalam almari.

Ibu balik.

Ibu : Eh anak, mana kain yang ibu suruh angkat tadi?

Anak : All is done *senyum kambing* nak seposen!

Ibu : Wahh rajin anak, jom ibu belanja air blog bubble2 (yang ada bubble2 hitam tu)

Anak : Yay!

Sapa dapat teka apa yang tersirat sebalik cerita ubat batuk cap ibu dan anak ni? Aha, ibadat sunat laa Kita semua pun tahu, kita ada dua jenis ibadat ; wajib dan sunat. Ibadat sunat ni didefinasikan sebagai ibadat yang digalakkan tetapi jika tidak ditunaikan tidak mendapat dosa ^^

Cuba lihat perasaan ibu tu, dia suruh anak angkat kain je (wajib) tapi anak dia lipat, siap simpan lagi (sunat). Gembiranya ibu tu. InsyaAllah, kalau kita rajin rajinkan diri buat ibadat sunat ni, Allah akan lebih menyayangi kita. Bila Allah sayang kita, hidup kita insyaAllah akan jadi lebih tenang, lebih gembira. Kan kan kan? So it’s a win-win situation. So, ayuh kita sama sama! Sikit sikit lama lama jadi bukit! InsyaAllah (menyeru diri sendiri juga)

*senyum pun ibadah sunat taw!*

 

MA RABBUKA?

Ma rabbuka ni maksud dia, siapa Tuhanmu? Ada orang kata, ni soalan bocor dalam alam barzakh nanti *shivering* Namun, masa tu bukan lagi mulut yang menjawab tapi iman yang menjawab.

So, apa motif saya ni? InsyaAllah, saya, anda pembaca semua bertuhankan, ber-ilah-kan Tuhan kita yang satu, Allah. Anda semua selalu baca surah 3 kul? Surah 3 kul ni surah yang sangat famous lah kan. Masa saya kecil kecil dulu, selain al fatihah, surah 3 kul lah yang saya pandai baca. Tapi masa kecil kecil dulu saya tak faham, hanya tahu baca saja. Alhamdulillah sekarang ni saya dah tahu maksud dia. Basicly, surah 3 kul ni menceritakan atau memperkenalkan kita pada Tuhan kita, Allah. Orang kata, tak kenal maka tak cinta kan? Saya tertarik denga satu ayat dalam surah al-Ikhlas,

“Dan tidak ada sesuatu yang setara dengan Dia.”

Al-ikhlas : 4

Ayat ini menerangkan bahawa, tiada sesuatu pun dalam dunia ini yang boleh kita persekutukan dengan Allah. Dengan kata mudah, pergantungan kita ini hanyalah semata mata kepada Allah kerana segala sesuatu itu datang daripada Allah SWT.

Jom baca dialog ni!

1 :Siapa Tuhan kamu?

2 :Allah.

1 :Kenapa kamu buat maksiat?

2 :Kerana nafsu.

1: Tadi kamu kata Tuhan kamu Allah.

2: Tuhan saya Allah, tapi saya tidak dapat menahan nafsu saya.

1: Teeeett kamu manusia bertuhankan nafsu.

3 : Apalah kamu 2, bertuhankan nafsu.

1 : 3, kenapa shopping bag kamu banyak sangat?

3 : Oh saya kaki shopping.

1 : Perlukan semua barang2 tu?

3 : Tak, semua ni kemahuan saya saja.

1 : Tadi kamu kutuk 2 bertuhankan nafsu, kamu pun sama.

3 : Kenapa pula? Saya tak buat maksiat.

1: Eish eish eish. Kamu ingat nafsu tu maksiat sahajakah?

3 : erkk!

Sebenarnya, kita selalu merasa bahawa kita tidak pernah mempersekutukan Allah. Tapi kadang2 ada perkara yang kita tidak sedar. Nauzubillahuminzalik. Jadi, marilah kita sama sama berusaha untuk meletakkan sepenuh pengharapan dan pergantungan kepada Allah (peringatan buat diri sendiri). Apabila seseorang manusia itu mempunyai pergantungan yang penuh kepada Allah, insyaAllah dia akan terlepas dari segala belenggu.

TIDAK TENANG

Baru baru ini saya selalu rasa tidak tenang. Maka, saya pun pergi mendapatkan nasihat seorang rakan. Ternyata dia memberikan satu jawapan yang tidak terjangka. Selalunya, kawan akan cuba menyokong kita, memberi semangat. Tapi kali ini, saya mendapat pendekatan berbeza. Namun, saya bersyukur kerana dikurniakan seorang sahabat sepertinya, sentiasa memberi peringatan ke arahNya

So, nak tahu apa yang dia nasihatkan saya?

Nawal, meh kita share something ngan awak. Ada beberapa indicator kita harus bertaubat:

1. sedih yang tidak tahu sebabnya.

2. perasaan berat yang membebani jiwa.

3. kesulitan ekonomi.

4. perubahan orang2 atau benda2 di sekeliling.

5. apabila rasa malas untuk beribadat.

Sebenarnya, indicator harus bertaubat ni sudah dikupas dalam sesi usrah saya beberapa minggu sebelum saya mengadu pada rakan saya ini. Tetapi, saya hanya membiarkan dia berbicara tanpa mencelah sedikit pun walaupun dia hanya mengulang sesuatu yang saya sudah ketahui. Nak tahu kenapa? Kerana saya kagum dengan cara dia menyelesaikan masalah. Saya rasa malu apabila saya langsung tidak mengaplikasikan ilmu yang saya tahu apabila berdepan masalah sebegini. Namun, saya bersyukur kerana dikurniakan seorang sahabat yang mampu memperingatkan saya tentang ini. Terima kasih awak ^^ (I know you know who you are)

PELERAIAN

Haha, niat di hati ingin berbicara tentang semua benda. Tapi kekangan masa, kekangan idea membatasi niat itu. Rasanya setakat itulah dahulu. Moga jumpa di lain hari! Semoga kesilapan itu datang dari diri saya sendiri, dan kebaikan itu datang dari Allah SAW. Wallahualam.

Assalamualaikum

Haha (small laugh is a good exercise for your cheek muscle).

Alright, don’t bother about the words written on that staircase. What matter is the colour, it is pink! Okay, I’m kidding. What matter is what I am going to say.

Okay. Since I was kid, we Malaysians always here these kind of motivation words,

USAHA TANGGA KEJAYAAN

In English, hardwork is the step to success!

I know it is kinda lame right? I’ll be more motivated if someone says “ What you plant now, you will harvest later”. What a brilliant word a mouth can spilled out instead of “usaha tangga kejayaan”.

But, this one saying that had drive me to work until now. Why they use “tangga” = staircase as the symbol?

Because in order to get upstairs, you need to lift up all your muscles, made a move, step by step. And why didn’t they just say “USAHA LIFT KEJAYAAN” ?

Simple! Nothing could be achieve as easy as abc. Even when eating. Firstly, you need to cook. Even if you’re really lazy to cook, you need to go to the restaurant, which cost you money and sweats! Then, you need to wash you hand. And even when you’re already put the food inside your mouth, it can’t easily get into your stomach and you immediately throw that BURPPPPP out of your throat. It need to go through your oesophagus first, step by step! Then, your foods are converted into energy. When you eat, you get energy. Did you know the fact that those food are going through absorption, digestion, then TCA cycle, then electron transport chain and by then only the ATP phosphorylation take place and taraaaaa, energy comes out!

Allah has shown us how to get thing done, step by step.

So, usaha is like tangga. Single step might not worth a success, but single step may lead to the next step which lead you toward the success. Oh myyyy, do you get me? Haha, what I mean is, little effort and sweat is not enough to reach the success. If you only climb 3 steps out of 10 steps, how could you reach the top? No matter how liters of sweat it takes, no matter how liters of tears it takes, you need to climb all those step to reach the top! The process might be slow, and there will be a time that you really wanna take a rest. The top seems so far away, and you’re thinking you won’t able to made it to the top. But hey! Walk slowly. If you’re running, you’ll end up tiring at one point. Walk step by step and appreciate the journey. At the end, you’ll finally reach the top! HAPPY ENDING

Easily said than done right?

I hope Allah will give me strength to make those steps. Amin. InsyaAllah

Kurban Bayram

Salam Eid Adha to all muslim and muslimat out there.

Kurban Bayram? What is that? Well, let’s learn some russian word! Actually it is the russian word for “Hari Raya Korban”.  Remember okay, next year I won’t translating it again ;p

So this is my 2nd time of celebrating eiduladha in Volgograd, but this year celebration is more merrier as we do not have any classes today. Alhamdulillah

So what do we do?

1. wake up early

Hari raya would be an exception for my sleeping sickness!

2. Wait for the bus (we are going to mosque)

These are my housemates, Jiha and Ayu

And while we’re waiting for the bus, we suddenly realize something. That tiny little white thing.. We was like, ohmyy ohmyyy it’s snowinggggg

Alhamdulillah, it’s a present and rahmat from Allah. We do really love snow that we’re jumping happilyyyyyy even this is our second year!

3. Arrived at mosque!

This is Lingoranskaya Mosque. We have 2 mosque over here, but this one is nearer. Besides, there’s qurban ceremony here *excited* *excited* *smile*

4. Takbir

We’re given the takbir text and it is written in russian alphabet. Islam is pure, and Allah is the Almighty one

5. Aidiladha prayer.

Alhamdulillah The khutbah was about the Nabi Ibrahim ‘alaihissalam.
