Assalamualaikum wbt
Salam Eid Adha to all muslim and muslimat out there.
Kurban Bayram? What is that? Well, let’s learn some russian word! Actually it is the russian word for “Hari Raya Korban”. Remember okay, next year I won’t translating it again ;p
So this is my 2nd time of celebrating eiduladha in Volgograd, but this year celebration is more merrier as we do not have any classes today. Alhamdulillah
So what do we do?
1. wake up early
Hari raya would be an exception for my sleeping sickness!
2. Wait for the bus (we are going to mosque)
These are my housemates, Jiha and Ayu
And while we’re waiting for the bus, we suddenly realize something. That tiny little white thing.. We was like, ohmyy ohmyyy it’s snowinggggg
Alhamdulillah, it’s a present and rahmat from Allah. We do really love snow that we’re jumping happilyyyyyy even this is our second year!
3. Arrived at mosque!
This is Lingoranskaya Mosque. We have 2 mosque over here, but this one is nearer. Besides, there’s qurban ceremony here *excited* *excited* *smile*
4. Takbir
We’re given the takbir text and it is written in russian alphabet. Islam is pure, and Allah is the Almighty one
Allahuakbar !
5. Aidiladha prayer.
Alhamdulillah The khutbah was about the Nabi Ibrahim ‘alaihissalam.
6. Photography session
It’s good to meet most of my sisters here ^^
7. Let’s watch qurban.
-BEFORE-
-AFTER-
There’s this hadith,
“Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda yang maksudnya:” Aku diperintahkan dengan menyembelih korban itu dan ia adalah sunat ke atas kamu”
Alfatihah to my all these sheeps. InsyaAllah, may Allah blessed you.
8. Home again ^^
The cold weather almost killing us. Let’s go home and hibernate ^^ kidding ;p
9. Cooking and eating raya dishes!
Dear mum, I know you’ll be proud of me after looking this. Hee hee hee.
The laukksss : Ayam masak merah, daging masak hitam, acar, papadommmm.
Nasi beriani ^^
This is the collaboration of me and my housemate SATISFACTORY APPROVED!
Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah alhamdulillah ^^ syukur for today
Before ending my entry, I wanna share 3 interesting facts about today :
1. Thank you, syukrann for those people who gave me these cute cupcakes!
2. People, I mean Russian people, have some culture of giving during hari raya. It’s the thought that count right?
So people, this is what I got at the mosque today,
