BEWARE! They are searching for your pets. He He He *evil laugh*

Okay, stop it Nawal. Haha, okay memang nampak macam agak menakutkan, but chill and relax because today I am gonna talk about those 3 *insects kot* kat atas tu!

What is mite? Is it like flea? Or is it one of the species of tick? Or tick and flea is just mite wannabe? *errrr* or maybe tick is the super queen who lays the eggs by itself and then she got twins, which named Mite and Flea. Because Mite and Flea are so really seriously alike, so the queen give Mite blue shirt and Flea-pink shirt and pink is so my colour!  HAHA. CONFUSING right?

Okay, actually these three insects are really alike that people hardly differentiate them!

“Hey Nawal, do we really need to know their differences?”

“Ahaha, NO lahh. Tapi kalau tahu kan lagi bagus, ilmu tu tak pernah rugi "

Biologically,

Mite and Ticks ---> belong to the class Arachnida

Flea                      ---> belong to the class Insecta

And there is so many differences between Arachnida and Insecta! Among them are :

- Arachnida differ from Insecta in their anatomy and development from immature to mature stages.

- Arachnida have eight legs, while Insecta have six legs.

- Insecta posses wings and antannae while Arachnida doesn’t.

- Arachnida do not undergo transformation, while Insects metamorphose through stages - larval, pupal, and adult [in case of complete metamorphosis only]

*metamorphose = changing form*

- Finally, the eyes of Arachnida are simple while those of the Insecta are compound.

Oh additional! Tick lives on rodent while the other two live in mammal.

Clear everybody? Actually, eventhough we knew their differences, it wouldn’t be easy to identified them with our naked eyes! Bak kata Makcik Sofy jual biskut tu “ Yang atas rambut tu namanya kutu, yang dekat telinga tu pun kutu jugak, yang dekat bulu kucing tu pun kutu jugak” HEHE. ye ye Makcik Sofy, semua pun kutu kan?

So, the best way, if your pets were suspected to have any of these three insects, bring them to the vet and make sure they will be free of them. They are DANGEROUSSSSS~ as they could also infect you!
